历史俱乐部

The 历史俱乐部 is a student organization dedicated to all things history for those who have a passion for learning about the past or are just curious about it. With Dominican University advantageously situated in Orangeburg, New York—a town that prides itself on being rich in history—the Club provides students with the opportunity to explore the historically-significant lower Hudson Valley that spans New York City about 20 miles to the south and West Point about 30 miles to the north. Membership and participation are open to all students at the University, not just those with a major or minor in 历史. Club activities include social events, field trips, lectures, and service work.

Active participation in the Club brings multiple benefits:

  • Meet new and interesting people
  • Explore the rich history of the lower Hudson Valley
  • Gain valuable experiences related to one’s undergraduate studies
  • Collaborate with other student clubs to provide campus-wide programming
  • Pursue leadership opportunities
  • Build important resume material for graduate school or job applications
  • Engage with and serve the community
  • 玩得开心!
